They helped us move into a new apartment today. A few days before the move I had to add an additional stop for pickup (which was an hour away) and Michele helped plan the entire process. She was very nice and helpful. The two men that moved our stuff were very friendly and efficient (Mark and Jeremy I believe). The guys were on time, careful with my stuff and worked hard. My only criticism is I think the issue of what kind of insurance to use/buy should be brought up way before move day and not when you are in panic mode. Makes you wonder if done purposely. See more See less

I have never written a review publically before but felt inclined to review the amazing crew from Woody & Sons. First, Sarah was very prompt in responding to our initial request. Very honest and straightforward about logistics and price. We felt very taken care of from the beginning. Then, on moving day, we couldn't have asked for a better crew. Krown, Otis, and Joe were not only knowledgeable and careful with our belongings, but they were quick and trustworthy. We never worried for one second about their care as we saw how hard working and delicate they were being with our belongings. I was a little surprised when they showed up in a U-Haul truck, but that is what they regularly use and they packed it full. The team they sent, James, Krown and Jody were prompt and efficient and best of all careful. Noting broken and nothing missing. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again. These guys worked their butts off! Didn't hardly even stop for a drink or snack. 10 hours and they were still going strong at the end. They totally saved the day! Stepped in to move us after Hurricane Irma unfortunately shut our other moving company down. They honored the previous bid we had received as well. We had such a large move it had to happen on 3 different occasions...sarah sent me the estimates for every move and there were no hidden fees. Everything was reasonably priced and fully explained on all the documentation. The men she sent out were clearly experienced and knowledgeable. They respected our home and property and communicated with us constantly. Sarah confirmed date and time before every move and followed up after every move. The gentlemen she sent out were AWESOME!! These guys more than met my expectations! Service was prompt and the job was done in about 4 hours. We only wanted them to move the larger items in our house. They wrapped each item in moving blankets and then secured the blankets with plastic wrap. These items were ready to travel across the country but we only moved 20 minutes away. Approximate date of service (or last contact): 11/19/2013 Hire Again?: Yes Approx. Cost: $3,600.00 Work Description: Pickup furniture from single family home in Tallahassee. Have overnight storage and deliver to West Palm Beach condo. Comments: Woody and Sons motto is "We take the stress out of moving" and they sure deliver! Based on several reviews from Angie's list, we picked Woody and Sons -- we needed a company that could pick up special custom furniture and artwork; store the items overnight and deliver the next day to a condo that has very restricted move-in/out times -- We were impressed from the start with the professional attitude and responsiveness of our initial point of contact. Via the internet, and a couple of phone calls were were able to agree on the scope, cost and schedule for the job. The delivery destination required insurance forms and a copy of the license -- all of which Woody and Sons provided within 24 hours of the request. While we had some traditional items being moved (desks, chairs) we also had a 450 pound two-piece cypress table along with stainless steel table bases, and 14 paintings and other artwork. On top of it all, it rained the morning of the pickup. Although the pickup time was alittle delayed -- The movers called from the road to let us know of the delay. When Mike and Chris showed up they were extremely professional, careful and respectful of our items and our home. Mike and Chris were really terrific -- we truly appreciated the way they moved the pieces with care and attention to detail. We left to meet them at the delivery destination (450 miles away) with confidence. As they promised, Woody and Sons stored our items overnight and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time the following day. -- The destination was a condo with extremely restricted moving times so it was imperative that the movers start and finish on time -- Mike and Chris were equally careful of our items at the arrival destination. The cost was as agreed upon $3600 plus insurance (which was optional) -- We would certainly recommend Woody and Sons and especially Mike and Chris for your moving needs. See more See less

Have overnight storage and deliver to West Palm Beach condo. Comments: Woody and Sons motto is "We take the stress out of moving" and they sure deliver! Based on several reviews from Angie's list, we picked Woody and Sons -- we needed a company that could pick up special custom furniture and artwork; store the items overnight and deliver the next day to a condo that has very restricted move-in/out times -- We were impressed from the start with the professional attitude and responsiveness of our initial point of contact. Via the internet, and a couple of phone calls were were able to agree on the scope, cost and schedule for the job. The delivery destination required insurance forms and a copy of the license -- all of which Woody and Sons provided within 24 hours of the request. While we had some traditional items being moved (desks, chairs) we also had a 450 pound two-piece cypress table along with stainless steel table bases, and 14 paintings and other artwork. On top of it all, it rained the morning of the pickup. Although the pickup time was alittle delayed -- The movers called from the road to let us know of the delay. When Mike and Chris showed up they were extremely professional, careful and respectful of our items and our home. Mike and Chris were really terrific -- we truly appreciated the way they moved the pieces with care and attention to detail. We left to meet them at the delivery destination (450 miles away) with confidence. As they promised, Woody and Sons stored our items overnight and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time the following day. -- The destination was a condo with extremely restricted moving times so it was imperative that the movers start and finish on time -- Mike and Chris were equally careful of our items at the arrival destination. I booked 2 movers to help with loading only services for my Uhaul out of my apartment and D and Pedro were amazing! They arrived early for our appointment, were extremely courteous, and had everything completed within exactly the 2 hour quoted time frame.
